Arrests made

2 teenage males were arrested yesterday by Eastwood Safer Neighbourhood team and Eastwood response officers  on suspicion of a series of incidents in Eastwood of thefts, assault, criminal damage and robbery.

They had been positively identified by officers from their local knowledge and comprehensive CCTV enquiries. The 2 males were taken to Custody, interviewed, and have been subsequently released with bail conditions not to enter the affected stores and locations whilst enquiries continue.

PC 2134 BROWN said: "No one goes to work to be the victim of crime and anyone who causes disruption and upset to staff and residents in our Communities will be robustly dealt with. These are serious offences with serious knock-on effects to the local community".
